We work alongside Bangladesh’s most segregated communities — starting with the tea gardens — building the education, evidence, and dignity they need to shape their own future. Not dependency. Capability.
What we do
From the education at the heart of our mission to the relief work that started it all — every program is designed to build capability, not dependency.

Read StoryNot a charity — a ripple
HITH does not run on the language of self-sacrifice — the idea that we give everything so someone else’s fortune improves while ours does not. We do not believe that framing, and we will not use it to raise funds. Instead, we are building a system where every party benefits: a volunteer grows in skill and purpose, a community becomes more capable of generating its own value, and a supporter sees their own good come back. Done right, the people we work with stop being seen as a cost to be covered and start being recognized for what they already are — contributors whose value simply has not been unlocked yet.
